Nidia Forman OMT, RDH

 

Nidia graduated from the West LA Dental Hygiene program in Los Angeles, CA in 2004. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2004. She has worked under both Spears and Kois trained dentists and has learned management skills under the Clasen Consulting Group, JP Consultants and the Richardson Group. She received training from the MyoMentor Institute in 2022 where she trained under Sarah Hornsby and Melissa Mugno. She has also taken the Buteyko breathing course through Buteyko Clinic International under Patrick McKeown. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has been working as a Myofunctional Therapist since 2022 and is a proud member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT). She previously saw Myofunctional patients out of a private office for 4 years, but has now opened her own private practice and is offering her special blend of compassion, skills and expertise to the community of the North Sound where she calls home. She became interested in Myofunctional Therapy because, as a mother of 3, she leans toward a more holistic lifestyle. She believes that 5 basic human needs are air, food, water, sleep and sunshine, four of which are directly affected by a restricted tongue. On her time off you will likely find her at a farmers market, watching a show at the Everett theatre or playing Stardew Valley with her daughter.
