Our Staff
Nidia Forman OMT, RDH
Nidia graduated from the West LA Dental Hygiene program in Los Angeles, CA in 2004. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2004. She received training from the MyoMentor Institute in 2022 and again in 2026 where she trained under Sarah Hornsby and Melissa Mugno and is a Myo Munchee Certified Practioner. She has taken the Buteyko breathing course through Buteyko Clinic International under Patrick McKeown. She has been a practicing Myofunctional Therapist since 2022 and is a proud member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT). She previously saw Myofunctional patients out of a private office for 4 years, but has now opened her own private practice and is offering her special blend of compassion, skills and expertise to the community of the North Sound where she calls home.

Nidia also has the unique perspective of having suffered with clenching and TMJ pain herself much of her life due to a tongue tie. She regularly received Botox injections to relieve her symptoms. She also struggled with swallowing pills and had digestive issues. She has experienced first hand both the suffering and the life changing benefits of a tongue tie release and Myofunctional Therapy. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

On her time off you will likely find her at a farmers market, watching a show at the Everett theatre or playing Stardew Valley with her daughter.
David, Office Administrator
David is retired from a career at the Boeing Corporation having worked on satellites and commercial airplanes for over 24 years. He now oversees day to day functions at SoundFlow Myo, coordinates appointments, and maintains the website. He enjoys tinkering on his 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT, watching classic episodes of Star Trek, camping and hiking, and spending time with his family.

Our Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist (OMT) Nidia will meet with you face to face in our office.

Consultations typically last 30 minutes.

She will spend time listening to your concerns.

You will receive a brief introduction to Myo.

She will take photos and measurements.

She will discuss treatment options and benefits and set realistic expectations for you.

If you are not already under the care of a doctor, she may refer you to a partnering physician for diagnosis and lingual frenectomy, if needed.
